Limburg United's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after two consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Leuven Bears (0-4) 93-88. Limburg United players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Yannick Desiron (208-92) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and American power forward Jordan Heath (208-91, college: Canisius, agency: Inception Sports) who added 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Limburg United's coach Ronnie McCollum allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side Dutch forward Joey van-Zegeren (208-90, college: Northwestern) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Maxime Gaudoux (200-90) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Limburg United (1-2) left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with Spirou and Brussels. It was Leuven Bears' fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. Limburg United will play against higher ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut (#5) in Jemappes in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Leuven Bears will play at home against Antwerp Giants (#3) and hope to get finally their first victory.
