Regular Season Round 7: Tochigi Brex - Chiba Jets 70-76

Leader Chiba Jets delivered the fourth victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Tochigi Brex (2-3) 76-70. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. American power forward Gavin Edwards (206-88, college: Connecticut) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international point guard Yuki Togashi (170-93) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists. Four Chiba Jets players scored in double figures. American power forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard Cedric Bozeman (198-83, college: UCLA) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Tochigi Brex's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Chiba Jets maintains first place with 4-1 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Defending champion Tochigi Brex dropped to the third position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
