Regular Season Round 4: Aalstar - Mons-Hainaut 81-80

The most exciting game of round 4 in the Euromillions League took place in Aalstar. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut (2-2) to third ranked Okapi Aalstar (3-1) 81-80 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Belfius Mons-Hainaut. The former international swingman Olivier Troisfontaines (196-89, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Troisfontaines is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Okapi Aalstar players scored in double figures. Okapi Aalstar's coach Jean-Marc Jaumin used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Tre Demps (188-93, college: Northwestern) replied with 21 points and his fellow American import swingman Garlon Green (201-91, college: TCU) added 19 points in the effort for Belfius Mons-Hainaut. Okapi Aalstar moved-up to second place. Belfius Mons-Hainaut at the other side keeps the fifth position with two games lost. Okapi Aalstar are looking forward to face Basic-Fit Brussels (#6) on the road in the next round. Belfius Mons-Hainaut will play against Limburg United and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
