Regular Season Round 4: GKS Tychy - Biofarm PZN 95-91

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Biofarm PZN (2-1) on the court of sixth ranked GKS Tychy on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by GKS Tychy 95-91. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Biofarm PZN. GKS Tychy made 26-of-33 free shots (78.8 percent) during the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Biofarm PZN helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Norbert Kulon (187-92) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Marcin Kowalewski (200-86) contributed with 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Jakub Fiszer (187-95) replied with 21 points and forward Filip Struski (200-94) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Biofarm PZN. Five GKS Tychy and four Biofarm PZN players scored in double figures. Biofarm PZN's coach Przemyslaw Szurek rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. GKS Tychy (3-1) moved-up to fifth place. Biofarm PZN at the other side dropped to the sixth position with one game lost. They share it with Enea Astoria. GKS Tychy are looking forward to face SKK Siedlce (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Biofarm PZN will play against the league's leader Polonia Leszno (#1) and is hoping to win this game.
