Regular Season Round 4: Handlova - Prievidza 73-88

Another interesting game for Prievidza (2-2) which played on the court of 5th ranked Handlova (1-3). Eighth ranked Prievidza had an easy win 88-73. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Rodney Glasgow (180-92, college: VMI) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 4 assists and Croatian swingman Marko Batina (197-86, agency: PEPI SPORT) who added 8 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American guard Marcus Tyus (185-94, college: Omaha) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and center Adam Stefek (207-93) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Handlova's coach Krunoslav Krajnovic tested eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Prievidza moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Handlova at the other side dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. They share it with Karlovka and Zilina. Prievidza will play against bottom-ranked Zilina (#10) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
