Bottom-ranked ASEFA Estudiantes (0-4) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to eighth ranked Araski (3-1) 73-59. ASEFA Estudiantes was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Araski made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for American power forward Julie Forster (185-91, college: Albany) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Dutch guard Natalie Van-Den-Adel (185-90, college: Colorado St.) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Araski players scored in double figures. Celia Menendez (186-90, agency: ProDep Management) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and center Mariana Gonzalez (187-88) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for ASEFA Estudiantes. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Araski moved-up to third place, which they share with Ferrol and Girona. Newly promoted ASEFA Estudiantes still closes the standings with four games lost. Araski's next round opponent will be Argon Uni Girona (#3) at home, which may be the game of the day. ASEFA Estudiantes will play against Gernika (#10) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
