Zamarat has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Campus Promete (0-4) 80-73. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 28-15. But Campus Promete won second period 22-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by American guard Brianna Butler (180-94, college: Syracuse, agency: LBM Management) who scored that evening 28 points and guard Marina Lizarazu (173-95, college: Iona) supported her with 21 points and 6 assists. Even 18 points and 6 rebounds by Portuguese center Sofia Da-Silva (187-90) did not help to save the game for Campus Promete. American guard Precious Hall (173, college: JMU, agency: ProDep Management) added 19 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Four Campus Promete players scored in double figures. Zamarat (1-3) left bottom position moving up to eleventh place. It was Campus Promete's fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Bembibre and Estudiantes. Zamarat will play against higher ranked Al-Qazeres (#8) in Caceres in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Campus Promete will play at home against Mann Filter (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
