Arkadikos cut a 14-point halftime deficit to two at the end of the game. Forward Sotiris Gioulekas (203-79) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Nikos Katsares (189-83) chipped in 8 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. AE Larissas' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Center Savvas Tsougarakis (207-86) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and forward Giannis Prodromou (196-87) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. AE Larissas will face Ermis Agias (#6) in the next round. Arkadikos will play against Peristeri GS (#4) in Athens and hope to win that game.
