Regular Season Round 3: Chanson V-M - Aishin AW 80-52

There was no surprise in Shizuoka where Aishin Wings (0-3) were crushed by Chanson V-M (2-1) 80-52. The game was mostly controlled by Chanson V-M. Aishin Wings was better in fourth quarter 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Chanson V-M players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Aishin Wings' players. It was an exceptional evening for international forward Sanae Motokawa (175-92) who led the winners and scored 18 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard LiQuan Luohe (165-91) accounted for 17 points, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winning side. Haruki Takahara (173-99) came up with 15 points and 6 rebounds and Kiho Miyashita (178-98) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Aishin Wings in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Chanson V-M's next round opponent will be again Aishin Wings (#9) in Anjo which should be theoretically another easy game.
