The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Charnay (3-1) on the court of seventh ranked Montbrison on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Montbrison 59-56. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Charnay. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Emilie Duvivier (165-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Ukrainian power forward Olga Maznichenko (187-91, agency: LBM Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws) for the winners. Ivorian center Kariata Diaby (192-95) replied with 17 points and 7 rebounds and forward Laure Belleville (175-87) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Charnay.
