Very important is a road loss of MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (2-1) against Trefl (2-1) on Sunday night. Visiting MKS Dabrowa Gornicza was defeated by Trefl in a tough game in Sopot 78-85. The hosts were already 15 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 20-12 MKS Dabrowa Gornicza's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 85-78 at the end of the game. Serbian power forward Nikola Markovic (208-89) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American swingman Aaron Broussard (195-90, college: Seattle) answered with 17 points and 4 assists and the former international Bartlomiej Woloszyn (196-86) added 17 points in the effort for MKS Dabrowa Gornicza. Five MKS Dabrowa Gornicza players scored in double figures. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Trefl will play against AZS Koszalin (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza will play against Stelmet (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
