Regular Season Round 4: Boras II - Helsingborg 72-85

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Boras II (0-1) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Helsingborg (3-0) 85-72. Worth to mention a great performance of Danish guard Mads Rasmussen (198-88) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 8 assists and guard Erik Joelsson (196-97) who added 18 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Joakim Gustafsson (206-97) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and guard Robin Alm (184-93) scored 19 points. Four Boras II players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Helsingborg have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 3-0 record, which they share with KFUM Fryshuset. Newly promoted Boras II still closes the standings with one game lost. Helsingborg is looking forward to face Brahe Basket (#9) in Huskvarna in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Boras II will play on the road against Eskilstuna and hopes to get finally their first victory.
