No shocking result in a game when Valmontone (2-1) outleveled at home Patti (0-3) 111-71 on Sunday. Valmontone made 39-of-51 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game, while Patti only scored five points from the stripe. They outrebounded Patti 46-22 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Valmontone looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Patti was plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for power forward Innocenzo Ferraro (200-82) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Valmontone will face Palestrina (#6) in Roma in the next round. Patti will play at home against Roma Luiss (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
