But Pescara was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Ortona 81-80 on Sunday night. It was a great evening for point guard Gianluca Marchetti (178-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 7 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ortona will face Senigallia (#9) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Pescara will play against Recanati and hope to win that game.
