Regular Season Round 4: Hammarby - Haga BG 72-65

Haga BG (#5) was upset in Stockholm by eighth ranked Hammarby 72-65. Deaven De-Freene (-97) fired 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Greek point guard Pavlos Pavlidis (183-97) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Five Hammarby players scored in double figures. Guard Vincent Taylor (183-98) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Hugo Bergstrom (182-1) added 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hammarby (1-1) left bottom position moving up to sixth place. Haga BG at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. They share it with KFUM Uppsala and Sundsvall. Hammarby will meet at home league's second-placed RIG Mark in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Haga BG will play against Orebro (#10) and hope to win that game.
