Regular Season Round 3: Raholan Pyrkiva - MuKi 58-73

The game between Top Four teams took place in Tampere. host Raholan Pyrkiva (1-2) lost to MuKi (3-0) 73-58. The game without a history. MuKi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Joonas Timonen (188-0) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Markus Rautasalo (180-0) accounted for 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Ville Haapoja (200-98) came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds and Russian guard Artem Shchepkin (194-86) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Raholan Pyrkiva in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MuKi will play against JyWe (#5) in Jyvaskyla in the next round. Raholan Pyrkiva will play on the road against Karkkila to get more than just one victory in their record.
