Regular Season Round 6: Ehime OV - Kagawa FA 82-76

There was no surprise in Matsuyama where 6th ranked Kagawa FA (1-5) was defeated by third ranked Orange Vikings (4-2) 82-76 on Sunday. Kagawa FA trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 26-20 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 76-82 at the end of the game. The best player for the winners was Toshino Yoshihiko (186-92) who scored 33 points (!!!). Guard Toshino Tatsuhiko (185-88) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and guard Tsukuba Tsukuba (188-92) added 17 points respectively. Four Kagawa FA players scored in double figures. Kagawa FA's coach Kohei Etoh rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Orange Vikings keep a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Kagawa FA dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. Orange Vikings will face Kumamoto V. (#4) at home in the next round. Kagawa FA will play against Dragonflies and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
