Regular Season Round 3: TLU/Kalev - Kalev/Cramo 59-84

Date: October 17, 2017
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Tallinn: Kalev/Cramo (#1) and TLU/Kalev (#4). TLU/Kalev was crushed at home by 25 points 59-84 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game without a history. Kalev/Cramo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Kalev/Cramo players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by TLU/Kalev's players. TLU/Kalev was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for the former international Janari Joesaar (198-93, college: UTRGV, agency: 3Eye) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international point guard Sten-Timmu Sokk (184-89) helped adding 13 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was Serbian center Djordje Dzeletovic (205-93) with 15 points and 5 rebounds and forward Janis Vahter (196-86) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kalev/Cramo will play against Tartu Ulikool (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. TLU/Kalev will have a break next round.
