Bottom-ranked Samaheej is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to tenth ranked Al-Bahrain (2-4) 100-64. Al-Bahrain outrebounded Samaheej 52-27 including a 37-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Samaheej's players. The best player for the winners was American forward Merrill Holden (203-93, college: Iowa St., agency: SDJ Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 20 rebounds. Palestinian Mohammed Khalili (-89) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Hussain Busafwan who recorded 20 points and Mohammed Busafwan added 17 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Al-Bahrain maintains tenth position with 2-4 record. Samaheej at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Al-Bahrain's next round opponent will be higher ranked Al-Nweidrat (#3) in Nuwaidrat and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
