Regular Season Round 5: Notec Inowr. - Slask Wroclaw 74-66

Notec Inowr. has registered their first victory this season after four consecutive losses. The win is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Slask (2-3) 74-66 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was power forward Rafal Malitka (205-91) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds. Center Lukasz Paul (205-89) chipped in 15 points. Four Notec Inowr. players scored in double figures. Power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and swingman Adrian Mroczek-Truskowski (195-85) added 9 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Notec Inowr. (1-4) left bottom position moving up to fourteenth place. Newly promoted Slask dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Notec Inowr. will meet higher ranked Enea Astoria (#8) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Slask will play against Siarka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
