KR defeated IR in Reykjavik 88-78. KR players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Jalen Jenkins (201-94, college: George Mason) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). International forward Kristofer Acox (198-93, college: Furman) helped adding 17 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American forward Ryan Taylor (196-92, college: Marshall) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and international point guard Matthias Sigurdarson (183-94, college: Columbus St.) scored 19 points and 5 assists. Four KR and five IR players scored in double figures. IR will play next round against strong Njardvik trying to get back on the winning streak. KR will try to continue on its current victory against Valur. It will be extra interesting game as Valur is their local rival from Reykjavik.
