Regular Season Round 2: Rustavi - DELTA 96-78

No shocking result in a game when Energy Invest (2-1) beat DELTA (0-2) in Rustavi 96-78. The game was mostly controlled by Energy Invest. DELTA was better in fourth quarter 23-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Energy Invest forced 20 DELTA turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Adam Blazek (185-92, college: Gannon) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 8 assists and 10 steals. Forward Tyrell Nelson (201, college: Gardner-Webb, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds. Four Energy Invest players scored in double figures. Energy Invest's coach Mikheil Beruashvili used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Deondre Ray (196, college: Cameron) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Nickolas Neal (183-89, college: Purdue-NCent.) added 20 points and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) respectively for the guests. Energy Invest will have a break next round. DELTA will play on the road against Sokhumi (#9) in Tbilisi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
