Regular Season Round 7: Aduaneros - Comuna 78-76

The most exciting game of round 7 in the LNB took place in Valencia. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 4th placed Comuna (5-5) to third ranked Aduaneros (4-4) 78-76 on Friday evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Aduaneros made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Alexander Morillo (180-92) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. International center Javinger Vargas (202-90) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Swingman Leonardo Berroteran (192-81) answered with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Victor Calderon (195) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Comuna. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Aduaneros have a solid series of four victories in a row. Despite that victory Aduaneros went down to fifth position due to points difference. Newly promoted Comuna dropped to the third place with five games lost. They share the position with Metropolitanos. Aduaneros are looking forward to face league's second-placed Cangrejeros in Maturin in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Comuna's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Caracas Atleticos.
