Bottom-ranked Burgos (0-5) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to ninth ranked Blusens Monbus (3-2) 94-69 on Saturday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Blusens Monbus. Burgos was better in second period 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Burgos to just 6 points in first quarter. Blusens Monbus dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Burgos' 22. Blusens Monbus will face league's leader Baloncesto Fuenlabrada in Madrid in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Burgos will play at home against the league's second-placed Real Madrid (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
