BLK top team - Artego Bydg. (6-0) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat twelfth ranked Enea AZS P. (0-5) in Bydgoszcz 79-72. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 36-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American-Puerto Rican point guard Jennifer ONeill (165-90, college: Kentucky) who scored 17 points and 4 assists. American forward Denesha Stallworth (191-92, college: Kentucky, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Ukrainian forward Kateryna Rymarenko (187-90) who recorded 17 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Jazmine Davis (170-93, college: Washington, agency: LBM Management) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively. Enea AZS P.'s coach Krzysztof Dobrowolski let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Artego Bydg. have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Newly promoted Enea AZS P. still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Widzew. Artego Bydg. will meet AZS UMCS (#5) in the next round. Enea AZS P. will play against the league's second-placed Wisla Krakow (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
