Bottom-ranked ASEFA Estudiantes (0-5) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 101-51 loss to tenth ranked Gernika (3-2) in Gernika on Saturday evening. The game without a history. Gernika led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ASEFA Estudiantes to just 4 points in first quarter. Gernika dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to ASEFA Estudiantes' 24.
