The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 22-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Josh Davis (203-91, college: San Diego St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) chipped in 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Toshiba Thunders players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Canadian center Robert Sacre (213-89, college: Gonzaga) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) scored 8 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Toshiba Thunders have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Chiba Jets and Hokkaido L. Loser Hitachi Sunrockers dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. Toshiba Thunders will face Niigata Albirex (#5) at home in the next round. Hitachi Sunrockers will play against Tochigi Brex and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
