Regular Season Round 3: AE Larissas - Ermis Agias 88-75

The game in Larissa was also quite interesting. Ermis Agias (1-2) played at the court of AE Larissas (2-1). AE Larissas defeated Ermis Agias 88-75 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a great evening for swingman Giannis Papachristos (190-80) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Kostas Saribalidis (182-87) helped adding 20 points. AE Larissas' coach Christos Hasanidis used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Nestoras Kommatos (203-77) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and guard Leonidas Triantafillou (190-88) scored 17 points. Four AE Larissas and five Ermis Agias players scored in double figures. AE Larissas will meet Karditsas (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Ermis Agias will play against Arkadikos (#14) and hope to win that game.
