A very close game took place in Verona between Vicenza and Alpo VF. Top-ranked Vicenza (4-0) got a very close victory on the road over 4th ranked Alpo VF (2-2). Vicenza managed to escape with a 2-point win 51-49 on Saturday evening. Vicenza forced 19 Alpo VF turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian Melisa Brcaninovic (190-99, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds and guard Valentina Stoppa (172-85) who added 10 points during the contest. Vicenza's coach Jonata Chimenti used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side forward Elena Ramo (185-94) responded with 13 points and power forward Veronica DellOlio (190-93) scored 11 points and 4 steals. Vicenza maintains third position in A2 with 4-0 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Costa Masnaga. Loser Alpo VF dropped to the seventh place with two games lost.
