Regular Season Round 5: Trelleborg - Koping Stars 81-120

Leader Koping Stars blasted bottom-ranked Trelleborg (0-6) in Trelleborg 120-81 on Saturday evening keeping the perfect record after 5 rounds. Trelleborg is still unable to win any game. The game was mostly controlled by Koping Stars. Trelleborg managed to win fourth quarter 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Koping Stars dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Trelleborg's 32 and made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Trelleborg 44-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Aleksa Solevic (188-93, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who scored 27 points and 9 assists. Guard Robertino Duric (192-92) chipped in 25 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Koping Stars. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Djurgarden. Trelleborg lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. Koping Stars will meet at home league's leader Djurgarden in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Trelleborg will have a break next round.
