Regular Season Round 6: R8 Krakow - Kotwica 87-62

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked R8 Krakow (4-2) smashed at home 13th ranked Kotwica (2-5) 87-62 on Saturday. R8 Krakow forced 19 Kotwica turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Aleksander Zalucki (194-98, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Naturalized American swingman Michael Hicks (193-83, college: Central Mo.) chipped in 18 points. R8 Krakow's coach Rafal Knap felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Lukasz Bodych (201-90) who recorded 8 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Pawel Dzierzak (188-95) added 12 points and 8 assists respectively. R8 Krakow moved-up to sixth place. Kotwica lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with five games lost. R8 Krakow will face Biofarm PZN (#7) in Poznan in the next round.
