There was a surprise result in Poznan where fourteenth ranked Suchy Las (1-5) defeated higher ranked AZS PGd (3-3) 78-73 on Saturday. Suchy Las forced 19 AZS PGd turnovers. Guard Marcin Woroniecki (188-0) scored 27 points to lead the charge for the winners and forward Aleksander Lewandowski (198-0) chipped in 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Suchy Las players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Filip Pruefer (208-96) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds and Lukasz Jaskiewicz (202-92) scored 8 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Suchy Las left bottom position moving up to twelfth place in Group A. Loser AZS PGd dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Suchy Las will face league's leader Pelplin in Pelpin in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
