Very predictable result when seventh ranked Plasencia (3-1) edged on the road bottom-ranked Zamorano (0-4) 71-70 on Saturday. They outrebounded Zamorano 37-26 including 23 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Fernando Sierra (194-95, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds and forward Mario Alvarez (196-91) who added 9 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Plasencia's coach Carlos Diaz used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American guard Chris Hansen (193-93, college: Idaho St.) responded with 18 points and forward Adrian Mendez (195-93) scored 16 points.
