Ninth-ranked JKL Dolphins (6-11) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked KIU Titans (13-5) on Saturday. The visitors from Kampala managed to secure only one-point victory 68-67. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of JKL Dolphins. KIU Titans forced 20 JKL Dolphins turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Chris Omanye (183-94) stepped up and scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Ethienne Kazungu (-80) chipped in 7 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Ivan Enabu (186-85) with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international swingman Norman Blick (199-83) scored 19 points and 6 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. KIU Titans moved-up to second place. Newly promoted JKL Dolphins dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
