Regular Season Round 7: Metropolitanos - Atleticos 77-60

Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Caracas: Metropolitanos (#5) and Atleticos (#6). Metropolitanos (5-5) crushed visiting Atleticos (0-10) by 17 points 77-60. It was a great evening for point guard Yochuar Palacios (183-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points and 5 assists. The former international forward Lenin Lopez (198-91) helped adding 7 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side guard Enderso Ramos (185-95) responded with 13 points and 4 assists and Grendy Correa scored 15 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Metropolitanos moved-up to third place, which they share with Comuna. Atleticos at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Metropolitanos will play against league's leader Guaros 2 in Barquisimeto in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Atleticos' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Caracas to the arena Comuna.
