Euromillions League top team - Oostende (5-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Liege Basket (1-4) 101-70. Oostende shot 63.8 percent from the field. Oostende outrebounded Liege Basket 43-24 including a 37-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 70.6 percentage. Oostende looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Nigerian center Tonye Jekiri (213-94, college: Miami, FL) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Montenegrin Vladimir Mihailovic (193-90, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Tyler Larson (190-91, college: S.Dakota) responded with 23 points and 8 rebounds and Slovenian swingman Jakob Cebasek (200-91) scored 12 points. Oostende have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 5-0 record. Liege Basket at the other side keeps the ninth position with four games lost. Oostende are looking forward to face Basic-Fit Brussels (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
