Regular Season Round 4: Tsmoki-Minsk - Tsmoki II 65-49

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Minsk: Tsmoki-Minsk (#3) and Tsmoki II (#5). Tsmoki-Minsk (4-0) smashed visiting Tsmoki II (2-2) by 16 points 65-49. The game was mostly controlled by Tsmoki-Minsk. Tsmoki II managed to win third quarter 11-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Viktor Ovsepyan (203-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Ivan Aladko (193-95) who added 12 points during the contest. At the losing side guard Anton Zaretski (188-98) responded with 7 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Maksim Korattsou (171-98) scored 6 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tsmoki-Minsk have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with COR-Borisfen and Grodno-93. Tsmoki II at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Tsmoki-Minsk is looking forward to face Prinemanye (#5) in Grodno in the next round. Tsmoki II will play on the road against the league's leader COR-Borisfen in Mogilev and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
