There was a minor upset when higher ranked Rimini (2-2) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Lugo (2-2) 79-68 on Saturday. Lugo forced 21 Rimini turnovers. Point guard Matteo Seravalli (184-91) fired 14 points and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Tommaso Gatto (204-96, agency: Players Group) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Paolo Busetto (192-96) produced 17 points and the former international center Francesco Foiera (207-75, agency: Interperformances) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
