Regular Season Round 2: Cactus Tbilisi - Olimpi 85-76

Cactus Tbilisi defeated Olimpi at home 85-76. American guard Deondre Parks (185-92, college: S.Dakota St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points. The other American import guard Chris Johnson (190-91, college: St.Catharine) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Mark Ogden (206-94, college: Dixie St.) replied with 17 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Revaz Rogava (191-93) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Olimpi. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Olimpi's coach Leonid Ivatin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Olimpi will play next round against Mgzavrebi trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena of Mgzavrebi. Cactus Tbilisi will try to continue on its current victory against Batumi at home.
