Everything could happen in Seu D'urgell at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Sant Adria and 6th ranked AE Sedis had identical 2-2 record. But AE Sedis was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Sant Adria 69-62 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 69-62. Sant Adria outrebounded AE Sedis 43-27 including 31 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was international Belen Arrojo (188-95) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. Mali center Mariam Coulibaly (193-97) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Sant Adria's coach Fabian Tellez used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Jamaican forward Shereesha Richards (185-93, college: Albany) produced 15 points and Argentinian forward Andrea Boquete (183-90) added 12 points respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sant Adria (3-2) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser AE Sedis dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. Sant Adria will face league's leader Perfumerias Avenida in Salamanca in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. AE Sedis will play on the road against Zamarat (#12) in Zamora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
