Regular Season Round 4: Tsmoki-Minsk - Victoria 96-50

Tsmoki-Minsk has registered their first victory this season.They used home court advantage to defeat Victoria (0-3) 96-50 on Saturday. The game without a history. Tsmoki-Minsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Victoria's 26. They outrebounded Victoria 47-25 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tsmoki-Minsk looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Victoria's players. American center Kai James (198-95, college: Florida St.) fired 23 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. International guard Anastasiya Sushchyk (160-97) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Four Tsmoki-Minsk players scored in double figures. Tsmoki-Minsk's coach Andrey Vavleu felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Anastasiya Serchenya (182-0) produced 10 points and swingman Iryna Dziachek (175-0) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Defending champion (1-0) left bottom position moving up to fourth place. Loser Victoria still closes the standings with three games lost. Tsmoki-Minsk will again meet at home bottom-ranked Victoria (#7) in the next round. Victoria will have a break next round.
