Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Boomers outrebounded Perth Lynx 46-34 including 35 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a great evening for the former international center Elizabeth Cambage (203-91) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 22 rebounds.
