The game was dominated by American players. Forward Kristian Clarkson (202-84, college: Widener) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Forward Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Jerome Hill (198-94, college: Gardner-Webb) replied with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Jemal Farmer (195-89, college: Arkansas, agency: Blacktop Management) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Puente Alto. Puente Alto's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Las Animas maintains first position with 7-1 record. Puente Alto at the other side dropped to the third place with four games lost. They share the position with Los Leones. Las Animas will play against Osorno Basquetbol (#4) at home in the next round. Puente Alto will play against the league's second-placed Universidad de Concepcion and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
