Regular Season Round 4: Lighthouse TRP - Virtus Roma 76-77

Virtus Roma has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. The win is especially important as they edged much higher ranked Lighthouse TRP (2-2) on the road game in Trapani 77-76 on Sunday. American power forward Lee Roberts (201-87, college: Findlay, OH) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. The other American import guard Aaron Thomas (196-91, college: Florida St.) chipped in 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Virtus Roma players scored in double figures. American forward Jesse Perry (200-89, college: Arizona) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds and Kenneth Viglianisi (193-92, agency: Players Group) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Virtus Roma (1-3) left bottom position moving up to fourteenth place in A2. Loser Lighthouse TRP dropped to the tenth position with two games lost. Virtus Roma will meet at home higher ranked Bertram Tortona (#5) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Lighthouse TRP will play against Cuore Napoli (#15) and hope to secure a win.
