Regular Season Round 5: BG Lulea - Nacka Basket 61-71

Another exciting game was between sixth ranked Nacka Basket and 4th placed BG Lulea where Nacka Basket (3-1) beat BG Lulea (2-2) on the road 71-61. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BG Lulea. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Nacka Basket. BG Lulea was better in fourth quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Nacka Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to BG Lulea's 36. They outrebounded BG Lulea 46-32 including a 36-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nacka Basket brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Swingman Mustafa Dibba (186-95) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Basem Abdulkader (180-94) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Nacka Basket players scored in double figures. Guard Simon Finden (190-0) answered with 20 points and 4 steals and point guard David Hook (185-99) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for BG Lulea. BG Lulea's coach Fredrik Joulamo rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Nacka Basket moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. BG Lulea at the other side dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with Huddinge. Nacka Basket will play against KFUM Lidingo (#4) at home in the next round. BG Lulea will play against the league's second-placed KFUM Fryshuset and hopes to get back on the winning track.
