Regular Season Round 4: Bertram Tortona - Agrigento 85-88

Bertram Tortona (3-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked Agrigento (3-1) 88-85. It was a key game for the second position in A2. Agrigento made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. The winners were led by guard Marco Evangelisti (198-84) who scored that evening 24 points and guard Simone Pepe (184-93, agency: SPORTlab Agency) supported him with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Four Agrigento players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds by Lithuanian Paulius Sorokas (202-92, agency: Players Group) did not help to save the game for Bertram Tortona. The former international power forward Luca Garri (207-82) added 15 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. Bertram Tortona's coach Lorenzo Pansa rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Agrigento moved-up to second place in A2. Agrigento will play against league's leader Novipiu Casale on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bertram Tortona will play against Virtus Roma (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
