Very expected game in Torino where 11th ranked VL Pesaro (1-3) was defeated by seventh ranked Fiat TO (3-1) 88-79. It looked good early as VL Pesaro took a 13-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Fiat TO took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 9 points. They made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Fiat TO players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The winners were led by Slovenian Sasha Vujacic (201-84) who scored that evening 23 points and 4 assists and American swingman Lamar Patterson (196-91, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Pensack Sports) supported him with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) by American forward Eric Mika (208-95, college: BYU) did not help to save the game for VL Pesaro. VL Pesaro at the other side dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. Fiat TO's next round opponent will be Betaland Cdo (#10) in Capo d'Orlando where they are favorite. VL Pesaro will play at home against Vanoli Cremona and hope to win that game.
