Very important is a road loss of second ranked Can Tho CF (8-5) against fifth ranked Hochiminh CW (5-7) on Tuesday night. Visiting Can Tho CF was defeated by Hochiminh CW in Hochiminh 85-67. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Can Tho CF. Hochiminh CW shot 60.7 percent from the field. They also forced 21 Can Tho CF turnovers and had a 33-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Hochiminh CW especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Bilal Richardson (203, college: N.Alabama) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Henry Nguyen (, college: Orange Coast CC) contributed with 17 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Hochiminh CW players scored in double figures. Dinh Thanh answered with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American power forward DeAngelo Hamilton (203-90, college: Washington St., agency: Inception Sports) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Can Tho CF. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hochiminh CW maintains fifth place with 5-7 record. Can Tho CF at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Hochiminh CW will play against higher ranked Hanoi B. (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Can Tho CF will play against Saigon Heat and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
