Regular Season Round 3: Tadamon - Al Riyadi 74-76

The most exciting game of round 3 in the Pepsi LBL took place in Zouk. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of Tadamon (0-3) to Al Riyadi (3-0) 76-74 on Tuesday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Tadamon trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 26-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 74-76 at the end of the game. It was a great evening for American guard Quincy Douby (190-84, college: Rutgers) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points. The former international point guard Wael Arakji (194-94) helped adding 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: BeoBasket) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and American point guard Patrick Rembert (185-89, college: Cal-Irvine) scored 11 points and 5 assists. Five Al Riyadi and four Tadamon players scored in double figures. Al Riyadi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Beirut Sagesse.
