Regular Season Round 4: Beroe - Play Off 78-83

Another exciting game was played in Stara Zagora between fifth ranked Bosnian Play Off and one of their biggest challengers Bulgarian Beroe where Play Off (2-2) beat Beroe (1-3) on the road 83-78. Play Off made 36-of-39 charity shots (92.3 percent) during the game, while Beroe only scored five points from the stripe. Beroe was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of center Nikolina Dzebo (186-95) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 7 rebounds (made all of her fourteen free throws !!!). Guard Sandra Azinovic (182-99) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (made all of her ten free throws !!!) for the winners. Five Play Off players scored in double figures. Swingman Teodora Dineva (178-96) replied with 24 points and 7 rebounds and forward Gabriela Nikolova (183-97) added 19 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Beroe. Beroe's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Defending Bosnian champion moved-up to third place in A, which they share with Tresnjevka. Beroe lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Play Off will play against league's leader Buducnost in Podgorica in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Beroe will play on the road against Istanbul Uni (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
